What’s going on.

Monday, August 18th, 2008

Well the answer to that is that we’ve taken a mid-season break to restock our inventory as we sold so much at the last three festivals. We will be back on the road in September and have things booked thru November 1st so far. My wife and partner Harriet aka “Ladyhawk” Celebrated her birthday August 13th and this past weekend we returned to Brushwood in NY for some R&R with friends that couldn’t make it down for the Sirius Rising/Starwood dates in July. But now it’s back to work and I have two commissions for copies of a set of pieces I did for a friend. Her friends like them so much they would like their own. They are the pin-up style women woodburnings with a faerie, devil girl, witch and mermaid. Also I must quest for wood for runesets again so I will be off to Akron soon to see my lumberjack friend who saves me good branches when he takes down trees (Thanks Gorden). I will post again this week as to our upcoming festivals but until then,

Hi there, Just to let you know that the World of Faeries Festival in South Elgin, Illinois was a great success! First off it’s really fun and the people and entertainment are great! Second We sold well and so did Paula our friend and business partner from The Magick Willow. Third the festival is growing every year with more to do and more vendors and more people coming to it! We met people from all over Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana who drove there, I can’t wait for next year! Also I’m to become a member of the Brotherhood of the Green Men a good organization dedicated to the Earth and men who love it, I can’t wait. Entertainers Patchouli were there again with their really good folk music sound and the Gypsy Nomads who I’ve seen at other fests really did great drumming. The fighters from Swords of Valor are great people both entertaining and to hang out with! Also the faerie entertainers did a great job keeping the kids entertained with all their wonderful games stories and tricks. I also wish to say that the folks doing the mexican food are great as is the coffee place that makes the fruit and tea smoothies. and the brick oven pizza was very good as well, please all come back next year! Thanks to David and Gloria for holding it again, Keep up the great work, we will see you there next year.
